ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

This one day conference will take place in the Research Beehive
Newcastle University. This is a follow-up and dissemination event to
an ESRC funded seminar series. Anyone with an interest in the area is
welcome to attend!

Early registration fee: £40 (includes lunch and refreshments)

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Professor Virginia Gathercole, ESRC Centre for Research on
Bilingualism in Theory and Practice, Bangor University.

Abstracts for papers or posters addressing any aspect of working with
EAL or bilingual children who have underlying speech, Language and
communication needs/difficulties are welcome. Please restrict the
length of your abstract to 400 words and indicate whether you wish to
give an oral or poster presentation.

DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS: FRIDAY 27TH MARCH 2009. We will let you know
whether your proposal has been successful by 25th April.
DEADLINE FOR EARLY REGISTRATION: 25TH MAY 2009.
