I vote in favor of Jean´s proposal. There should be a special award. We
should bring it up with the IASCL board. How do we start this? Does
anyone know?

In this age of trillion dollar deficits and terabyte drives, a million may seem a small number. However, for a small academic discipline, it is not bad at all. Also, I have noticed that the number of hits to the web page seems to be an accelerating function, which is another nice signal.
