Dear all

I am pleased to announce that the July 2010 issue of the IASCL Child
Language Bulletin is now online at

This issue features

(i)     an update on the IASCL 2011 Congress by Henri Cohen. There are
important amendments and clarifications to announce. Please note that
the submission deadlines have been extended by 2 weeks (Aug 15 for
symposium abstracts; Oct 15 for individual poster abstracts). The
complete amended call for abstracts can be downloaded from the
bulletin.

(ii)    a progress report on PhonBank by Brian MacWhinney and Yvan
Rose

(iii)  an introduction by Sigal Uziel-Karl about the “SemTalk”
website, which provides a platform for communication between
researchers who use CHILDES to work on Semitic languages like Hebrew
and Arabic

in addition to announcements about forthcoming conferences and
workshops, conference and workshop calls, new CHILDES corpora, books,
completed PhD theses, etc.

There is also a downloadable PDF version of the bulletin, in addition
to the usual online version. The download link is just below the
