A conference on Speech, Language and Communication Needs in older
children and young people

15-17 June 2011
City University London, England.


REGISTRATION OPENS: 1ST MARCH 2011

Registration is now open for this exciting conference, hosted jointly
by City University, I CAN and Afasic. It is an applied research and
practice conference covering new and ground breaking research and
practice in the area of speech, language and communication
difficulties in older children and young people.

Speakers at the conference include:

The Rt. Hon. John Bercow will give an introductory address and a panel
discussion will be held on the commissioning and nature of specialist
services to older children and young people with SLCN. Workshops on
“My Speech and Me” will also be led by young people with SLCN and
their parents.
