Job Description
The Psychology Department at Stony Brook University seeks to hire at least one, and possibly two, tenure-track Assistant Professors for fall, 2013. Successful candidates will be strong researchers who can contribute to a developmental perspective in one or more of our four graduate training programs (Integrative Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Social/Health, and Clinical Science) and teach undergraduate Developmental Psychology. We are particularly interested in applicants who do research on typical neurodevelopment or neurodevelopmental disorders, or who can supervise graduate child clinical intervention practica. Stony Brook has a strong Psychology Department, and excellent and rapidly expanding neuroimaging facilities. We are located on the Long Island Sound, 60 miles from Manhattan.
