Handedness test

Dear Info-CHILDES,

as a baseline test for a series of language experiments with 3, 4, and 7-year-old typically developing children and children with cochlear implants as participants, I am looking for a handedness test. It should preferably be a short test that can be used for all these age groups, giving at least a global indication of left or right dominance. I am assuming here that being a patient or not does not make a difference for the type of test. Using a computer or concrete materials and involvement of parents are all an option.

I would be grateful for any recommendations for this kind of test.

Best wishes,
Daan van de Velde,
Leiden University
