We are seeking an individual specialising in research on the development of language and communication. This post offers the opportunity to join a thriving research group at the University of Liverpool, and become a member of the new ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development, a multi-million pound collaboration between the University of Liverpool, University of Manchester and Lancaster University.

You will be expected to produce high quality research, to contribute to the work of the Department of Psychological Sciences and the ESRC Centre for Language and Communicative Development. You will also contribute to teaching and supervision on the undergraduate and taught masters programmes run by the School of Psychology.

You should have a PhD in a relevant area (e.g. psychology, cognitive science, cognitive neuroscience, lingiustics), experience of publishing high-quality research on language and/or communicative development and experience of providing teaching and learning support in a higher education setting.
