This individual should hold a doctorate in Special Education or a related field. University teaching and research experience is desirable--including preparation of grants. Responsibilities include teaching graduate level courses in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program and supervision of credential, master’s and doctoral level students. Candidates need to be familiar with various service models, and current issues in the field. In addition, specific skills and knowledge of multicultural aspects of education is desired. We are especially interested in locating individuals with expertise to build a new graduate emphasis in bilingual education for Deaf students.
