<b>Tenure-track appointment, Ph.D. Program in Literacy Studies. <br>
Open rank, 10-month tenure-track faculty position.</b> <br>
Duties include teaching courses at the Master's and Doctoral levels in
Literacy Studies, graduate advisement, supervision of dissertation
research, curriculum development, public and university service, grant
writing, and externally-funded research.

Excellence in teaching, research/creative activity, and service is
expected for all positions. MTSU seeks candidates committed to using
integrative technologies in teaching.

Position may begin January 2011 or August 2011.<br>

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or equivalent in speech-language
pathology, education, or related field. Expertise in literacy research
and literacy assessment or instruction is required. Commitment to
effective teaching, research, public and university service is
expected. <br>
