<span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">I am also greatly saddened by the loss of Melissa Bowerman. I started hearing about Melissa's work during my undergraduate years in Istanbul (with Ayhan Aksu-Koç), always admired her "in press" work during my graduate school years in Berkeley (with Dan Slobin), and then seeked to find her "in press" work after I returned back to Istanbul.  Melissa was always so warm and inspiring to talk to, both as a person and a scholar.<div>
