The Department of Linguistics at Northwestern University seeks to fill a tenure-line Assistant Professor position with a start date of September 1, 2013. We are looking for candidates with primary research and teaching interests in morphology, syntax, or semantics, and their interfaces with other areas of linguistics.</p>

language corpora in order to address theoretical issues. Preference will be given to those applicants who will contribute to the department's active role in<br>interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives. Although we expect to hire at the rank of Assistant Professor, more senior candidates will also be considered. Candidates must hold a PhD in Linguistics, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field by the start date.</p>
