are accepting applications for a joint postdoctoral fellowship position for
2013-2014. The labs are in the Department of Psychology at the University of
Calgary. The post-doctoral fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate on
ongoing and planned studies exploring early word learning and categorization in
infants and young children <span style="color:black;mso-themecolor:text1">as
well as develop new studies</span>. The laboratories use behavioral and eye
tracking techniques to investigate language and cognitive development in
infancy. Research in the labs is funded by grants from NSERC, SSHRC, NSF,
and NIH.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;text-autospace:none"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 18px;">Applicants
must recently have obtained, or expect to have, a Ph.D. in psychology or a
related field, and can be either Canadian or foreign citizens. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;text-autospace:none"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 18px;">The
stipend for this postdoctoral fellowship will range between $45 000 and $50
000. The term is for one year, renewable for a second year. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;text-autospace:none"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 18px;">With
