is not universal and reveals a lot of cross-linguistic variation. However, relatively little attention has been given to the acquisition of the adjective category in languages beyond English and to cross-linguistic comparisons in this domain. This workshop
aims to bring together experts in the field of adjective learning from different countries – who rarely meet due to being geographically scattered – and thereby stimulate collaborative projects in this area.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">We invite abstracts for 20-minute talks (plus 10 min. discussion) on all aspects of adjective acquisition (e.g. semantics, morphology, syntax, pragmatics)
in typical and atypical, monolingual and bilingual, first and second language acquisition. Papers on cross-linguistic comparisons are particularly welcome. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words (excl. references) and should be submitted as e-mail attachments
