tenure-track Assistant Professors to join its faculty<br>beginning August, 2014. We seek scholars with research and teaching interests in the broad area of<br>psychology and human development as
it pertains to social or cognitive processes, education, and<br>learning, whose work will complement and extend ongoing research programs in the department. The<br>individuals filling these positions will affiliate with the department’s highly ranked educational<br>psychology or developmental science specializations. The current faculty members in the<br>Department have internationally renowned research programs on different aspects of human<br>development and learning.</div><div id="yiv3910694648yui_3_7_2_86_1375198477445_66" style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);font-size:16px;font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;background-color:transparent;font-style:normal;"><br>The department offers doctoral specializations in educational psychology, developmental science, and<br>measurement, statistics and evaluation, master’s degrees in human development and in measurement<br>and statistics, an undergraduate minor in human development, and a teacher
certification program in<br>early childhood education. Faculty in the department make use of the research facilities at the Maryland<br>Neuroimaging Center (MNC: http://www.mnc.umd.edu/home) and the department houses the Center for<br>Young Children lab school. Graduates from the Department’s research-focused Ph.D. programs take<br>positions at major academic and research institutions.
