    Spanish Linguistics, Ph.D., tenure-track, to begin
August 99. ABDs will be considered.  Specialization open.
Candidates should be willing and qualified to share
coordination responsibilities of midsize Spanish
language program, show strong commitment to both research
and teaching, and have native or near-native proficiency
in Spanish and English.

    Candidate will be fourth linguist in the Department,
and will teach Spanish language and linguistics (including
specialized courses in BA and MA programs), and general
linguistics (for the interdepartmental linguistics
program).
