                          Abstract:

   Structure, Meaning, and Acquisition in Spanish is a selected
proceedings of the 4th Hispanic Linguistics Symposium, which was held at
Indiana University in Bloomington (USA) on November 17-19, 2000.  The 20
papers chosen for the volume are organized into four sections:

   (1) historical linguistics,
   (2) language acquisition and language use,
   (3) syntax and semantics, and
   (4) morphology and phonology.
