/><b>Descripción</b><br /><p>The International Seminar on Translation
and Universal Accessibility (SITAU) is organized by Tracce research
group based at the Translation and Interpreting Department of the
University of Granada, within the framework of the research project
AMATRA (Accessibility to Audiovisual Media Through Translation). <br
/><br />The main goal of this seminar is to promote research in the
field of Universal Accessibility to Knowledge by bringing together
researchers, professionals, enterprises, institutions and potential
users. Moreover, it aims to foster the creation of innovative
professional profiles for Andalusia at the University of Granada, with
a view to export them to Europe.<br /><br />SITAU deals with two main
topics:<br />Accessibility to the media - 14 December<br
/>Accessibility to museums and accessible tourism - 15 December<br
/><br />Each thematic block will be composed of a plenary conference,
a round table and a series of papers on specific subjects.<br /><br
/>Paper proposals<br />Papers are allotted 20 minutes for presentation
and 10 minutes for questions and discussion (30 minutes in total). <br
/>Abstracts proposals (in English, Spanish, German, Italian or French)
of 250-350 words including bibliographical references and a bionote of
150 words should be attached as a MS-Word document (authorname.doc)
and sent to sitau2011@gmail.com by 15 October 2011.<br /><br
/>Proposals should be presented on the proposal form which can be
downloaded from Submission Form SITAU2011.doc.<br />Notification of
acceptance will be sent by 10 November 2011. <br /><br />Official
Language<br />The preferred languages are English and Spanish,
although other languages will be accepted depending on the
circumstances.<br /><br />Seminar venue <br />The Seminar will take
place at the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the
University of Granada, sited at: Buensuceso 11, 18002 Granada,
Spain.<br />Publication <br />A selection of the papers presented at
the Seminar will be published by the organizing committee.<br

/>Registration Fees <br />Participants: 50 Euros (Includes materials,
coffee breaks and publication).<br />Student concession: 30 Euros
(Includes materials and coffee breaks).<br /><br />Proceedings
guidelines<br />The maximum length will be 10 pages for presented
papers and 20 pages for plenary conferences. Contributions must be
typed using a 12-point Times New Roman font, single spacing and
default margins for A4 paper. The editorial committee will give more
detailed guidelines after the seminar. <br /><br /><br />Registration
