placer anunciaros la cuarta entrega de la Biblioteca Digital de Textos
del Español Antiguo: Textos legales españoles (<a
href="http://www.hispanicseminary.org/t&c/lex/index.htm"
target="_blank">http://www.hispanicseminary.org/t&c/lex/index.htm</a>).
Este nuevo corpus contiene 49 manuscritos (casi 3.000.000 millones de
palabras) de transcripciones editadas por diferentes colaboradores,
cuyos nombres figuran en la lista que ofrecemos a continuación, y
previamente publicadas por el Hispanic Seminary of Medieval Studies.
El corpus, que incluye textos de los siglos XIII al XVI y de
diferentes variedades dialectales, será una importante fuente de
información para historiadores del derecho, lingüistas históricos y
lexicógrafos, quienes podrán examinar los contenidos de los textos
para desarrollar una gran variedad de estudios conectados con el
desarrollo del español legal, permitiéndoles rastrear los cambios,
continuidades y patrones de variación ocurridos a lo largo de varios
siglos. Al final de este mensaje se ofrece el listado de los textos

/><br />Dear Friends,<br />It is a pleasure to announce the fourth
corpus of the Digital Library of Old Spanish Texts project: Spanish
Legal Texts (<a
href="http://www.hispanicseminary.org/t&c/lex/index.htm"
target="_blank">http://www.hispanicseminary.org/t&c/lex/index.htm</a>).
This new corpus contains 49 manuscripts (almost 3,000,000 million
words of running text) of texts edited by several collaborating
scholars, whose names appear in the list below, and previously
published by the Hispanic Seminary of Medieval Studies. The corpus,
which includes texts from the 13th to the 16th centuries and from a
wide dialectal range, will be a significant source of information for
legal historians, historical linguists, lexicographers, who will be
able to access and search the contents of the texts for a wide variety
of research tasks connected with the diachronic developments of
domain-specific legal Spanish, providing them with an opportunity to
examine the shift, continuities and patterns of variation over several
hundred years from the first emergence of the register. A complete
