Modern Languages and Literatures in the College of Arts and Humanities
at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a
regular tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant
Professor of Spanish Linguistics, with a specialization in Applied
Linguistics/Second Language Acquisition. The position begins August
2014. The appointment carries a 3/2 teaching load, including
undergraduate and graduate courses. <br /><br /><b>Minimum
Requirements</b><br /><br />Ph.D in Spanish or Linguistics, or related
area, required at time of the appointment, August 2014. Native or near
native fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Candidates are
expected to have a strong research record or promising research
agenda, as well as demonstrate a firm commitment to excellence in
teaching and preparing graduate students for the profession. <br /><br
/>The salary for this position is negotiable and includes full
