communication problems in an intercultural context and viable options

beide Seiten schwierig. Sprachliche, kulturelle und fachliche
Wissensdivergenzen führen zu teils gravierenden
Verständigungsproblemen, zuweilen bricht sogar offener Streit aus. In
dieser Untersuchung werden anhand der Analyse authentischer
Migranten-Behörden-Gespräche in Berlin und Buenos Aires Ursachen und
Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten solcher Verläufe erforscht. Ein Fokus
liegt dabei darauf, die Bedeutung unterschiedlicher Sprachkompetenzen
in interkultureller Kommunikation herauszuarbeiten und so den
jeweiligen verständigungsrelevanten Anteil der Einflussgrößen
Interlingualität, Interkulturalität, Institutionalität empirisch zu
ermitteln. Erst dies erlaubt es, die Interdependenz dieser Faktoren zu
ermessen, die behördliche Interaktionen mit Migranten z.T. ineffektiv
und auch konfliktiv geraten lassen. Hieraus werden Implikationen für
eine Verbesserung der Kommunikation in diesem institutionellen
interkulturellen Kontext abgeleitet. Das Buch richtet sich an ein
