/><p> Este volumen recoge en forma de diccionario enciclopédico más
de 800 entradas sobre la historia de la traducción en España,
entradas que han preparado 400 especialistas nacionales e
internacionales. El lector hallará aquí tanto artículos relativos a
los contextos emisores (literaturas nacionales y autores extranjeros)
como a los contextos receptores (traductores y distintos aspectos
relacionados con la práctica y la teoría de la traducción). Se ha
prestado atención a la realidad multilingüe y multicultural del
estado, por lo que se incluye información detallada sobre la
actividad traductora desarrollada no sólo en castellano, sino
también en catalán, euskera y gallego.<br /><br />El estudio aplica
un enfoque amplio y toma en consideración aspectos como la diversidad
de las traducciones literarias, con eventuales alusiones a
traducciones de textos no literarios, los agentes (traductores,
mecenas o impulsores, mundo editorial, etc.), relación entre
traducciones y pensamiento, recepción de la literatura incorporada,
relación entre literatura importada y literatura autóctona...<br
