Description

Descripción

The concept of being varies largely when you study things,
especially if you study human realities. Speakers accept the mode of
being and subsequent mode of thinking in force in their speech
community. Things in the western languages are coceived of as if they
were entities. In the history of western thought you can see at least
five different modes of thinking: a) substantive mode of being,
transmitted by western languages; b) modern or Cartesian Mode of
thinking, based on intuiticon, reason and deduction; c) being as
manifesting itself, things manifest themselves in what they appear to
be; d) executive mode of being, things perform themselves in what they
are; and e) real mode of being, things act on us and we act on things.
Speakers live language, that is, they intuit, create, acquire and
perform, say and speak, use, evaluate, and even speak of language. As
a consequence, language as it is spoken is different from language as
it is studied.

Temática: Filosofía del lenguaje<br
