[Japanling] 2017 Assessment in Online Language Courses webinar series

Dear World Language Instructor,

The National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) in collaboration with
the North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS) is offering a professional
development (PD) series titled “Assessment in Online Language Courses” for
online language instructors nationwide. The purpose of this series is to
introduce instructors to the concepts, principles, and best practices for
designing and conducting assessments in online language courses.

The series consists of five 2-hour webinar sessions covering ten topics.
Sessions will take place every Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
(Eastern Daylight Time) starting on September 27 and ending on October 25,
2017. Participants who successfully complete the series by attending
webinar sessions and completing associated tasks will earn a digital badge
from the NFLRC and may be eligible to earn a Continuing Education Unit
(CEU) towards maintaining their professional qualifications. (Teachers from
NCVPS are automatically eligible; other educators will need to put the
NFLRC in contact with the awarding supervisor.)
