Actually the Russians pronounce it
M'k'rtychan, if not Mkyrtychan (y is for Russian "i tviordoye"

I do not think this is a Russian word.
I have no idea how Armenian language works but I guess if a Russian
pronounces this word he/she will put some semivowels somewhere.
So would I. My personal preference is for: Mk'rtchan.
