This is Sang Yong Lee, working in Nepal for Sherpa Dictionary project. Four
years ago I had compiled and published Nepali Korean Dictionary with
Shoebox. As far as I understand, you need some conditions:
1. I had used Korean Window.

(I am using Windows XP, so this shouldn't be a problem. I use Korean in
Word, Excel, Outlook, Notepad and on the Internet.)

2. Keyman with Korean font

**I was not able to find a Korean keyboard for Keyman. How do you make
Korean work with Keyman?

3. In Korean Window there are two options for Korean and English, then turn
off English to use Korean.
By my experience it was not so easy to use Shoebox for Korean in English
Window system.

(I think this would be left Shift + right Alt to switch between English
input and Korean input.)

If you have any further question, please let me know.
Sang Yong
