All you need for a parsing entry in Shoebox is a word field and an
underlying form field. For example, if your lexical database uses lx as the
record marker, and \u as the underlying form marker, you could enter it
like this:

\lx pu'ípakara
\u pu'- ípak -ara

If you aren't sure if you've specified an underlying form marker, go into
the database type properties of the text database, on the interlinear tab,
click Modify for the parse process. Click the "Lexicons" button. The
"marker to output" at the bottom right, is the marker to use for the
underlying form field.
