[Lexicog] What is considered "meat"?

an interesting expression occurs in Nez Perce (Sahaptian).  /pasaqí-/ 
v. 'crave meat' as in pasqíca 'I crave/am hungry for meat'.   of 
course, then there is the regular n. /núkt/ 'meat'.

perhaps there is some distant relation here with Hopi (Uto-Aztecan) 
based on Ken's note: 'Meat' in Hopi is sikwi.
