Mike,

I have been out of email contact for a while and I was surprised to see
"orientate" still here.

Anyway, I read an article in The Independent newspaper today (Mon 20 June)
on my flight home about some British farmers who want to ban "couch potato".
It said: "(British) Farmers have launched a campaign to get the term "couch
potato" removed from the Oxford English Dictionary. The British Potato
Council says the phrase makes the vegetable seem unhealthy and is bad for
its image, and want the term - which originated in the US - replaced by
"couch slouch". The council is protesting today in Parliament Square and
outside the offices of the Oxford University Press."

Maybe you should organise a campaign to ban "orientate". :^)
