[Lexicog] IPA on web sites

I used unicode IPA for web-based assignments in my intro linguistics
course for most of last semester. The only problem I had was with IE,
which wouldn't display certain unicode characters despite specification
of the font within the page. IE would select the code page as Western
European and wouldn't let the user select the unicode character set. It
worked fine with Firefox, Safari and Netscape.
