[Lexicog] Words formed on the pattern "participle - ing + first name"

It is the name of an Australian song.
Nobody uses this phrase anymore except in reference to the song, but I
believe it has been researched and that in times past, wandering travellers
carrying their "swag" were said to be waltzing Matilda, in that it appeared
that they were dancing the walz with their swag. I don't recall why
"Matilda". In any case it seems to a verbal phrase rather than a nominal
one, but doing proper research might show up something different.
