[Lexicog] Danish Internet dictionary

[Lars Trap-Jensen]

The Society for Danish Language and Literature is pleased to announce 
the release the online version of Ordbog over det danske Sprog (ODS, 
Dictionary of the Danish Language). The ODS is considered to be the 
national dictionary of Danish and is by far the largest dictionary ever 
made for this language. It was compiled between 1915 and 1956 and covers 
the language between 1700 and 1950. The digitization process began in 
summer 2004 and what you can see at www.ordnet.dk/ods is a first and 
very basic version. Later more advanced facilities and the recently 
completed five supplementary volumes will be added. But nevertheless, 
it's there and it's free for everyone to enjoy.
