[Lexicog] problem of copyright of DDP â?Ts sem antic domains

There is no copyright problem with using DDP domains in a published
dictionary. As far as I know there is no law that affects the use of
software in producing a book. When you copyright a book, you are
copyrighting the contents, not the means of producing it. You do not have to
pay royalties to the software company. You have already paid them when you
purchased the software. Since LexiquePro and DDP are distributed free of
charge, there is nothing you need to pay. Professional courtesy requires
that you cite works that you consult in a bibliography. Some authors use the
introduction or preface to express appreciation to those who have
contributed in some way to the production of the book.

Subject: [Lexicog] problem of copyright of DDP’s semantic domains

Assume I use DDP’s semantic domains to collect words and compile my
dictionary on LexiquePro, and then publish it on paper, what about the
copyright of the printed dictionary (though LexiquePro claimed to be
freely distributed).
Thank you for your advice.
