[Lexicog] sorting order in LexiquePro

Dear Ho Hai Tui,
Lexique creates a configuration file named [Lexicon] - Config.xml, in the folder where your lexicon is. If you open this file (with Internet Explorer or something) you'll see a section called <case associations> and another called <sort order>. You may edit these sections, and do as Neal has suggested, adding things in:
	<caseLine>A An Ang a an ang</caseLine>

Or in the sort order you could add:
	<sortLine>A a</sortLine>
	<sortLine>An an</sortLine>
	<sortLine>Ang ang</sortLine>

I hope this helps.

Dear Ho Hai Tui,
Try adding another field with substitute letters that you can sort, and
then sort by that field. Another possibility is to add "a an ang" as part
of the sort order for each of the vowels.

Please switch Encoding to Unicode UTF-8 - Dear Colleagues - I do find
LexiquePro an excellent tool for us, lexicographers. However, there are
problems with one of the most important features of the process of making
dictionaries - the sorting order. Would its sorting order be more flexible,
or leave out the sorting for the dictionary maker to make his/her own
sorting program, it would be much better. I have put some hundred of
entries in LexiquePro and found out that problem of sorting. - In
Vietnamese, we have the following alphabet: - vowels: a à ả ã á
ạ ă ằ ẳ ẵ ắ ặ â ầ ẩ ẫ ấ ậ e è ẻ ẽ é ẹ ê ề
ể á»… ế ệ i ì ỉ Ä© í ị o ò ỏ õ ó ọ ô á»" ổ á»— á»` á»™
ơ ờ ở ỡ ớ ợ u ù ủ ũ ú ụ ư ừ ử ữ ứ ự y ỳ ỷ
ỹ ý ỵ -consonants: b c d Ä` f g h j k l m n p q r s t v w x z
But I cannot put the sorting order in LexiquePro as: a à ả ã á ạ
ă ằ ẳ ẵ ắ ặ â ầ ẩ ẫ ấ ậ b c d Ä` e è ẻ ẽ é ẹ
ê ề ể ễ ế ệ f g h i ì ỉ ĩ í ị j k l m n o ò ỏ õ ó ọ
ô á»" ổ á»— á»` á»™ Æ¡ ờ ở ỡ á»› ợ p q r s t u ù ủ Å© ú ụ
ư ừ ử ữ ứ ự v w x y ỳ ỷ ỹ ý ỵ z especially cannot
put the sorting order of the tone marks, which is 1. [no tone mark]
 - like ba 2. ` - like bà 3. ?
       - like bả 4. ~ - like bã 5. '
             - like bá 6. . [dot under the syllable] - like bạ
because in Vietnamese, we count every word-syllable as one unit with its
tone mark included, for example: bánh - bán - bả - bà ng -
bạt - bá - bát So if we put the above sorting order in
LexiquePro, it will sort: bà ng - bả - bá - bán - bánh - bát
- bạt where it must be: bả - bá - bán - bà ng - bánh
- bát - bạt How can I solve this problem: export to .rtf or .html
and sort there? It must be rather complicated. Any advice are welcome.
Thank you very much.Ho Hai Thuy Vietnam
