[Lexicog] Juggernaut (was: The English (was Naming the Beautiful Game ..)

John,

Good that Germany and England don't face each other in the next round of the
World Cup. Otherwise the psychological warfare between the English and
German tabloids would have begun already. I always get a kick about a
typical headline of  "The Sun" like "The Huns are coming" or "The German
juggernaut." But the German tabloid "Bild" always answers in kind.

Where does the word juggernaut come from? Is it more used in British English
than in other varieties of English?
