I like it, David. Built on the pattern "to empower, enlarge" there is
nothing to object.

Now it remains to be seen whether it becomes popular or even makes its way
into the dictionary some day.

I found a new word today: embiggen. It can be seen at http://www.metro.
<http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/article.html?in_article_id=21898&in_page_id=2>
co.uk/weird/article.html?in_article_id=21898&in_page_id=2. Look at the
caption of the picture. This word does not appear in the printed
dictionaries I checked, but I did find it on Wikipedia (http://en.wiktionar
<http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Embiggen> y.org/wiki/Embiggen). I suppose if
I were a fan of The Simpsons I might have known this word.
