[Lexicog] Syriac Dictionary making

Hello, there are many Syriac to English dictionaries. There is no 
English to Syriac dictionaries.
I would like to start compiling an ENGLISH to SYRIAC dictionary that 
will be available online for all to use FREE.
I have time to do it but have no knowledge of the mechanics of 
starting such a project.
Would someone explain or provide me with answers?
