Or if you are interested in lexicography with a South Pacific flavour, the
University of the South Pacific (Fiji or Vanuatu) is always on the lookout
for international postgraduate students, so you could email me directly.

I can understand your frustration. I'm not promising to supervise you, but
I am based at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and I do
run graduate programmes from MA to PhD in Lexicography. I would however
have to know what your topic is, how you're planning to work, whether by
distance or on site, and how you would propose to finance your programme.
Let me know if you are interested and there could be further communication
between us.

wish I could further my study as a Ph.D. student in lexicography, however,
finding a suitable supervisor is much more difficult than I expected. Some
scholars whose research interests listed on the websites cover lexicography
refused me by saying lexicography is not their major research interests or
even suggested that I'd better change my research orientation in order to
get more chances. What can I do now? Do I have to abandon my dream and
change my research orientation? Who can help me? Thank you very much!
