If your colleague is interested in hardcopy publication, I can suggest that Evertype (that's me) has been doing lexicographical work for some time and is interested in more. 

At http://www.evertype.com/linguistics.html all of the books avail of Amazon's Search Inside function. A number of those books have glossaries, and the Middle-English dictionary is a complete dictionary.
