[Lexicog] IJL's Silver Jubilee: Key Issues, Key Scholars, and Their Impact on Lexicography

Dear Colleagues,

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the International Journal of
Lexicography (IJL). To celebrate this event, earlier this year Paul Bogaards
had selected ten articles from IJL's archive, to be made freely available
until the end of the year (http://www.oxfordjournals.org/page/4646/12). Also
on the occasion of the 25th anniversary, participants at the last Euralex
congress, held in Oslo, were given a 'Lexicographic Calendar'. The booklet
was compiled by Paul Bogaards in the IJL style and it contains, in addition
to a timeless calendar to keep track of all lexicographers' birthdays,
Paul's tongue-in-cheek article 'Lexicographers do it alphabetically'. (For

Now, to conclude the celebrations, a full special issue of IJL was compiled,
as detailed below.
