I recommend you have a look at tLex or tlTerm by TshwaneDJe: http://tshwanedje.com/

As far as I know they do Mac versions too.

Perhaps also send them an email explaining what you need the program to do so they can recommend the best one for your purposes. The guys from TshwaneDJe are really nice and helpful. They also have a mailing list: http://mailman.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/tshwanelex-l
