There is a scribe to latex converter.  See:

	ftp://ctan.unsw.edu.au/tex-archive/support/s2latex/

(or people overseas might prefer a nearer CTAN site).

I've never tried it so I don't know how good it is.  If that failed, I'd
try perl rather than emacs.
