[LFG] professor position in Paris

The University Paris Diderot is opening a full professor position in Phonology and Morphology for Fall 2015.

The candidate should have experience in teaching and research in theoretical and empirical phonology and morphology. S/he should already hold a tenured professor position or have obtained the French national qualification list (or ask for a special authorization by Paris Diderot research council).

S/he should have expertise in both contemporary phonological and morphological theories and is expected to devise an original research program on the grammar of the word, comprising its interfaces with syntax and semantics. An interest in cross-linguistic variation would be a plus.

The candidate is expected to join the Laboratoire de linguistique formelle<http://www.llf.cnrs.fr/> and to participate in the laboratoire d'excellence Empirical foundations of Linguistics<http://www.labex-efl.org/>.

S/he will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Linguistics department<http://www.linguist.univ-paris-diderot.fr/> as well as in the PhD Program<http://www.linguist.univ-paris-diderot.fr/ed.html>. A working knowledge of French is expected.

This is a permanent life-time position with a civil servant status. Salary will be in accordance with the French state regulated public service salary scale.
