Centered at the University of Roskilde, Denmark, the CALPIU network
for reseach in Cultural and Linguistic Processes in the International
University has been launched. From the CALPIU website (calpiu.dk):
"The CALPIU network is to prepare the establishment of an
international Centre for Cultural and Linguistic Practices in the
International University, and aims to coordinate Danish, Nordic and
international research into a new theoretical understanding of
internationalization
processes currently underway in universities and other institutions of
higher education." The Executive Committee consists of Bent Preisler
(Roskilde University, Denmark, Chair), Celia Roberts (King's College
London, United Kingdom), and Johannes Wagner (University of Southern
Denmark, Kolding, Denmark).
