That pretty much says it all, doesn't it?

The funny thing is, Commissioner Jenkins has a BA in Russian. You'd think he
would understand the value of having materials in "foreign" languages
available to the public. With minors in Russian studies and history, you'd
also think he might see the danger in allowing governmental bodies to tell
libraries what books and things they can and can't have on their shelves.
And... I thought Republicans were all about getting Government out of
running people's lives. How many ironies can we find here?

By the way... I just got back from a visit with friends and relatives in
Hagerstown, two mountain ridges west of Frederick. While combing the hills
for deceased ancestors, my sister and I found some grave markers in German
from the 1700s. And, yet somehow, it all worked out.
