Unlike 'Allah' (and indeed 'dewa') 'Tuhan' (also spelled 'Tuan') can be
used of and to a human, nd can indeed be translated into English as
'Lord' or 'lord' or 'your lord'.

I remember well the first time I attended Mass in Indonesia, and the way
I felt when I heard 'Allah' -- surprise followed by 'well of course'.
