Ethnic cleansing of Georgians

Human Rights Watch has said Ossetian militias have been involved in  
systematic persecution of ethnic Georgian civilians following the war  
in South Ossetia.

In recent weeks, AP reporters have seen homes burning in more than  
half a dozen Georgian villages in and around South Ossetia, as well as  
incidents of looting by armed men ? in at least one case as Russian  
troops stood by.
