dear all ,
thank you for reading and answering these questions ,  , which are very problematic to me :

in Arabic , the indefinite article is  wahed + el : wahedel like : wahedel bab ( a door )
however in my data , i found that sometimes the definite article 'el' which is attached to wahed is omitted like in :
andi wahed _ cursus instead  of : wahedel cursus ( here , it is a matter of bare form sisnce the system morpheme ( el) is not present )
Boumans ( 1998) refers to this phenomenon to the speakers' hesitation , not quite covincing for me, i wil be grateful if you can help me with your own explanations .

2- also, the preposition [l] may be omitted like in :
ra: ‡ d-discothèque  ((He went  the discotheque
)  instead of :   ra: ‡ l d-discothèque ((He went to the discotheque)
( here , also , we can speak about bare form since the outsider system morpheme is absent )

But , here no explanation is provided , is it possible to refer to the respondent's abbreviation in speaking , here again, it seems not really convincing to me .

i ma waiying for your answers .
all the best
Mostari
