On 19-20 March the Department of Social Sciences at the University of
Fribourg (Switzerland) will be holding its 2009 Situated Practices Seminar
³Doing Politics/Acting Politically: An International Workshop on the
Political Dimension of Situated Practices.²

Presentations will be given by Tim Berard (Kent State University), Baudouin
Dupret (CNRS-ISP, Cachan), Jean-Noël Ferrié (CNRS-PACTE, Grenoble), Philippe
González (Université de Lausanne), Ivan Leudar (University of Manchester),
Christoph Maeder (Pädagogische Hochschule Thurgau), Jiri Nekvapil (Charles
University, Prague), Louis Quéré (EHESS, Paris), Thomas Scheffer (Freie
Universität Berlin), Yasmine Siblot (Université Paris I), and Cédric Terzi
(Université de Lille 3).

This workshop was organized in collaboration with the Swiss Sociological
Association¹s research committee Interpretative Sociology and is supported
by both the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Swiss Sociological
Association.
