Description:

Researchers from the University of Minnesota Medical School and School of
Public Health are seeking an individual fluent in Spanish and Quichua
(preferably the dialect spoken in the Ecuadorian provinces of Pichincha and
Imbabura) to transcribe 39 interviews. The interviews range in length from
approximately 10 minutes to 45 minutes; most interviews are about 20
minutes in length. While the interviews were conducted primarily in
Spanish, many of the interviews contain brief Quichua statements; and
approximately 10 interviews were conducted primarily in Quichua. All
interviews need to be transcribed, and the Quichua-language portion of the
interviews needs to be translated into Spanish. The hourly rate for this
project is $10-20; determination of an exact hourly rate will depend upon
skill, language fluency, experience, etc. If you have questions or would
