Teaching Chinese in Bangladesh, a promise fulfilled

To teach Chinese in a Bangladeshi university was a promise Abdul Haye
made when he went to Beijing to study Chinese in 1966, and he thinks
his promise has been fulfilled.

Haye, who went to Beijing Language College to learn Chinese on a
Chinese government's scholarship in 1966 when Bangladesh was a part of
Pakistan, retired from Bangladesh's Dhaka University in 2007, marking
an end to his 37 years of work in the country's most famous national
university to teach Chinese.
